The Flame is the blog of Unite Youth Dublin. It is intended to:

The majority of posts are from young Unite members in our group but we will occasionally feature guest writers from other regions where Unite Youth is active and from fellow travellers in the labour movement.

Our Group

Unite Youth (Dublin Activist Group) organises Unite members under the age of 35 into workers campaigns and activism across the Dublin area. We are an extension of the Unite Youth Committee which organises throughout all regions in Ireland and the UK where Unite is active.

We aim to support progressive campaigns and build links between trade union members, socialists and community activists through our involvement in common struggles for social change. As well as this, we seek to educate young workers, students and the unemployed in Dublin through debate, political action and direct experience of organising against austerity.
